Empty RoomSitting in an empty room  With nobody coming soon.  Made a few discoveries  With no one to share them with  But me.

LostThere was a little girl who liked to jump  It was almost as if she flew   
She liked to play and prance around  Nothing was out of reach  A time machine by five she thought  but alas was not to be  five came much too soon  A time machine by ten   
everything's a let down  when you set your sights too high  let this be a warning  for this downward slide   
society a puzzle  never fitting in  normal is as normal does  she must be stupid then   
Those unspoken words are all a mystery  'over there' is not 'over there'  She wonders what do Lost

Pass the Poem: Murder-Suicide

=VertigoArt is at it again, with another Pass the Poem! This time, the theme is Murder-Suicide with the beginning focusing on the murder and the ending focusing on the suicide.

The Poem:

I froze when I saw his hands where mine should be; caressing
Like a winter morning, he was cold. Like a wind whistling
Cold he was, but every touch left a streak of glaring heat upon her skin.
November bites, December gnaws; neither match the dully dead
emotion that begins to rise, a taste of blood and bile
The writhing stench of deeds best left in a dark past
blinds me as it controls with a disembodying numbness.
